Spring is in the air
Sorry I have been away so long. I have no real excuse other than busy with other things. I'm afraid I am not as dedicated as many of you are.I do have my garden almost ready for the spring colors that will be arriving soon. Here are a couple that are showing us their spring beauty all ready. I like to get all the raking and winter debris cleared away before the bulbs bloom so that I do not rake away all the blooms along with the debris.
Soon, I will be bringing spring to all of you that do not have it yet.
My Daughter took me to the Portland, Oregon zoo a couple weeks ago. I may add some of those pictures later.

OH BOY!!! So glad you are back blogging...and these photo's, (The one before, too,) are BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to see all the other goodies that come up in your garden as Spring creeps in....!

Finally got you on my Blogroll, as of this very moment! Hooray! It has taken me a long time to get a blogroll at all...and I am adding a few people at a time because I make a LOT of mistakes! (lol)

I wrote a little something about her on my blog...I guess it was Tuesday....anyway...there was a wonderful Obit on her in The New York Times....if you don't get to see the Times I can email it to you...

I haven't seen your wonderful pics up for awhile and hope that you are busy and no ill.
It's funny about us bloggers. We get used to being able to go to a favourite site and there is something new and exciting up to see. Naturally, your blog is my refuge from the fight I'm always involved in and it gets to you day in and day out.
What I'm trying to say and not very well, is I miss you and all the extrodinary pictures you always post about.
