I know I post a lot of the warm and whimsical on my site! But I am not trying to solve the worlds problems here! I don't have any complaints to air about politics, or my life, or zits or anything. I just wanted a site to share with my family and anyone who might like to stop by and take a deep breath and relax for a moment. Just stop and smell the Roses! I love the snow, and we do not get it very often in Albany (a part of the Willamette Valley in Oregon). This snow was two years ago and we had it for almost a whole week! A real treat for us. I envy the snowy states and my friend Hasse's Sweden! Anyone of you that has some snowy pictures to post on their Blog let me know I would love to come visit and see them.

That is a whole oot of snaow, for sure...GREAT picture! I don't have any snow photo's from recent times living in L.A., but somewhere in the great Big Photo piles, there are some wonderful B & W Poloroids that I took waaay back...one of those blizzardy type snows (not unlike this photo of yours) where the trees are thick with layers of the White Stuff....One of these days....

oldladyofthehills, We don't get much of the beautiful white stuff here in Albany either. So whenever we do, I shoot a lot of photos. I am glad you liked it and I would love to see some of your old black and whites sometime.
When we don't get snow for Christmas, I just play a lot of Bing Crosby Christmas songs, that make me feel like it is a White Christmas after all!
Chen, My brother and Siter-in-law live in the Philippines so I know what your saying. Daylinn, loves when I send her the snowy pictures.
