i love the way this photo turned out! i need a new camera so much, because try as i might i just cant get photos like yours!
tonight i tried to capture a picture of the moon because it had a HUGE white ring around it, i took several shots with all kinds of flash options, got nothing!
Mindi, I don't get much better of the moon, with my camera. That is the moon in the shot below this one. Not very impressive. I used my wide angle lens on all these shots.I use the telescopic lens when I am actually going for something like the moon, but I am still not imppressed. I am hoping when I get my new digital SLR with some nice lenses, that I will be able to take some of those hard to get shots like the moom with them. It is not so much the camera you use as it is the lenses. So make sure you get a new digital with attachable lences. There is even a mount for digital camaras now, that is a mount for binoculars, a telescope or a microscope to get even closer shots. I read about it in my PC magazine. It said you can get shots like from the hubble, a little grainy but closeup and detailed. It sells for about 59 dollars. I thought I might try it after I get my new camera.
