Mary, When you were over the other day and we were visiting in the front drive way, you saw this bird in the weeping willow in my back garden. You asked me what it was and I told you it was a Northern Flicker. You said you were going to go right home and look it up on your computer. Did you? If you did, they are fascinating aren't they, I love their unique call, too!

the picture was very nice. Yes I came right home and looked it up on the computer. I found a place that made the bird sounds. And I turned it up real loud and kept doing it over and over . Do not know if he heard it. But it was fun to do.mary

Neat photo! Hey, how do you get the Babel Fish translation thingie for your site? My mommy has family in South America, it would be neat if they could translate my blog!

Sorry for the topical segue, but I wanted to thank you for adding the link to my BLOG. I just updated mine with a link back to you. For the record, I wouldn't add just any BLOG that links to me - but any site that understands the delicate parallels between Enya and Man O War just has to be linked to.

I'm struggling with some formatting issues right now. Hopefully my site will look a lot better in a few days.

Peace,
P. Del Ricci - Dark Glass
