Rose called Legend. It is one of my favorites. This would have been a perfect picture if the rain train sprinkler hadn't come by on its course through the front garden, watering.

Remember that pictures are always a little fuzzy when you view them on most blog sites but they are nice and clear when you download them onto your computer.

Rose after a light rain we had the other evening.

This Poppy with the sun just kissing it's petals, just sort of pops right out at you. I took it with my close up lens and it helped to fade all of the background nicely so that the Poppy stands alone and is the star of the show!
